Questions
- Does it work offline?
- Yes. The Los Angeles sectional is included. Other charts are downloaded once, after the app shows their size, and then work offline. Only the weather on airport cards needs a connection.
- Which charts are there?
- 52 sectional charts of the lower 48 states, Alaska and Hawaii, from the edition the FAA published for the current 56-day cycle. The edition date is shown on each chart.
- Where does the data come from?
- Chart images, airspace, airports, navaids and obstacles: FAA (aeronav.faa.gov, ADDS, NASR). Weather: the NOAA Aviation Weather Center (aviationweather.gov). Test figures: the Airman Knowledge Testing Supplement FAA-CT-8080-2H. All are US Government works.
- How do I remove a downloaded chart?
- Open the chart list (Change on the home screen) and long-press the chart.
